No Wonder She’s Called a Pearl

Except politicians, like everybody else, I occasionally find myself in those clumsy spots when I lack what to say, but I rarely find myself stuck about what to write, until this morning when I was doubly stuck; not knowing what to either write or say.

 

After a few seconds, grinning to myself, I decided of the two, to do what I know how to do best; write! But then, all I could scribble were three lean and insufficient words. If the silly smiley I added doesn’t count as a word, then I wrote just two words really; two lean and insufficient words.

The Simple Poem

Standard

How we crave so direly

The depths of certain words

To outwardly convey into sounds

Emotioning inner thoughts.

How we hungrily yearn the beauty

Of exotic gargantuan rhetorics

To flush out entrapped feelings

To ears that need to hear it

But I know better than try so hard

To say simple things complicatedly

Like times I need to say “Thank You”

Or let you know “I love You”.
